Retired voice actor Michael Lindsay (born May 9, 1963) has sadly passed away. The cause of death has not been announced. His passing was announced on August 31st in a tweet by his friend Trevor Dylan.


Lindsay is best known as the voices of Joe and Greymon during the first two seasons of Digimon: Digital Monsters, before later on breaking out as Kankuro in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden as well as Kisuke Urahara in Bleach. Other notable roles included Rollbar and Skid-Z in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Apollo in Zatch Bell, Leon Magnus in Tales of the World, Shinichiro Tamaki in Code Geass, Wataru Akiyama in Initial D, Yuu Matsura in Marmalade Boy, and Kanetsugu Naoe in Samurai Warriors 3 and Warriors Orochi 2. He retired in 2012 due to health complications and most of his ongoing roles were given to Doug Erholtz.


He is survived by his wife Linda and his two children.
